Cecilio Arillo’s Greed and Betrayal was one
of the seminal works that attempt to expose the first Aquino government as a
corrupt regime bent on revenge and self-enrichment. His method in the book was
merely dropping of facts, following his training as a journalist. Later on, I
heard he had released a new book to follow up his work.
We are all entitled to our little space on the web. This is my space on the web where I air my two cents to the world. I do it not just because it is my right, but because those two cents can be beneficial to others.

Should Children be Forced to Provide for their Parents?
I once criticized the proposal of some
lawmakers to force children to care for needy parents. For example, a bill by
Senator Jinggoy Estrada says parents may hire a lawyer to force their children
to provide for them should they desire it. Senator Panfilo Lacson had a similar
bill.
I still oppose this idea. The
care of older parents by their children should not be forced.

The Art of the Chinocrat
I just started this new blog, also on Blogger, called The Art of the Chinocrat. This is where I'll put all my thoughts and observations on art and other topics that I can make a visual commentary on. Since I consider myself an artist, I've decided I need a dedicated blog for this interest.
Feel free to take a gander, earthlings.

The Folly of Brown Pride
A copy of a recent article I put up on the Get Real Post:
It already irks me to keep hearing Filipinos complain about other Filipinos using skin whitening products or liking foreign shows and products, saying it’s a sign that Filipinos are ashamed of themselves. I disagree with that view. I think loving white skin has nothing to do with shame.
