It's another New Year, and though late, I have to greet everyone reading my blog (if there are any) a Happy New Year! A New Year also brings thoughts of entering a new time. Yet there are certainly some people who would continue to embrace the past.
We are all entitled to our little space on the web. This is my space on the web where I air my two cents to the world. I do it not just because it is my right, but because those two cents can be beneficial to others.

It's not all in the Mind
Sometimes, I hear people say, "it's all in the mind." "You can do anything if you put your mind to it." This is often used for normal people.
But then there are people who have deficiencies in their mental functions. For example, autistics. These people are unable to think as well as "normal" people do. You know about manic-depressives, amnesiacs, Down's Syndrome and other kinds of people. These are real, and as the mental health professions proves, mental illnesses affecting the physical part of the brain do affect the behavior of people. Behavior is not entirely controlled by willpower only.

What I Want in a Girl
I recently gained another year, and it brought to mind what other people keep on telling me... when am I going to get married and go ahead with my life? Well, you know many people are in their 30s and 40s and have not yet married for many reasons. I for one feel that I am not ready for married life and I am picky with who I want. So who do I want? Rednecks and Sophistication
Lately, to cure my previous ignorance, I learned what Redneck really means.
Definitions range from:
"...refers to a stereotype of usually rural, Caucasian (i.e. white) people of lower socio-economic status in the United States and Canada...
to:
"...A redneck is usually typified in popular culture by a straight male with a beer belly that consumes cheap American beer such as Busch or Miller by the case (Pabst Blue Ribbon in more traditional settings) as well as Jack Daniel's. They are generally distrustful or dislike anyone not like them or the government. The stereotypical redneck lives in a trailer, and drives an old, large, beat-up pickup truck with a gun rack in the rear window. He generally wears a stained, sleeveless t-shirt, blue jeans, and a trucker hat..."

The Jeff Foxworthy Definition: ""a glorious lack of sophistication,"
The last one hit me.

Best and Worst Government
If I will name a worst government, it will be what everyone thinks was the best government of all - a dictatorship.
History has shown that the worst governments ever were dictatorships. In nearly all instances where a dictatorship was established, the people always suffered pain and oppression. Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, Pol Pot, Slodoban Milosevic, Ivan the Terrible, Herod in the Bible, and all other dictators in history have a trail of bloodshed behind. I doubt even Fidel Castro would be excluded from his list. As long as you want to control others, but these others oppose you, you will be tempted to kill them - and you will fall to it. That's just human nature.
