My pastor and I had a discussion some time ago about this verse in Matt. 7:6 -
“Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”
He expressed disagreement with the common interpretation that the verse means you should not waste time with people who are rejecting your Gospel of the kingdom. He says, no, you don't leave them alone, because they are the ones you exactly are reaching out to. Thus, if you believe this commonly believed meaning, you may actually be doing it wrong.
We are all entitled to our little space on the web. This is my space on the web where I air my two cents to the world. I do it not just because it is my right, but because those two cents can be beneficial to others.

Why Anti-Bullying Programs should Exist
In
the United States, what looks like a right-wing libertarian or such movement is
actively campaigning against anti-bullying programs in schools. The belief of
opponents of anti-bullying is that bullying is a dynamic that should not be
interfered with and is a “rite of passage.” Thus, when bullying happens, leave
them alone. The assumption is that if the victim learns to fight back, he’ll grow
up and become successful, or he’ll become friends with the bully later. If you
interfere, you are teaching the child to be a moocher.
