Overpaid CEOs
It's no joke. And it's not funny. The average US CEO makes 400 times more money than the average US rank-and-file worker. To think, until the 1980s, it was only 20 times. And yes, they earn in the range of millions of US dollars. Of course, everyone is after the bigger salary, but then when you think of the poor around the world, you wonder if these CEOs have a sense of compassion at all. Maybe some do, but not all, sadly. Wish they would spend out of their pockets to help poor people even in their area, but then that's their decision.

Philippines: Latin America in Asia?
I have always wondered whether the Philippines has a lot in common with South American countries because of the obvious facts: having been colonies of Spain, and ending up in poverty after the colonial era. Later on, I found a study by a visiting professor that stated that the Philippines is only Asian in location; in everything else, it is a Latin American country.

America's Army
It all started with Kuma/War, a free first-person shooter game which allowed me to play the role of an American infantryman. Then I heard of an official game sponsored by the U.S. Army, America's Army. I decided to download and try out this game now that I have a spanking brand new system, and now I feel I have the ultimate military first-person shooter since Counterstrike.
