Linuxation Impending

Lately the celebrity son who told me about Buzzle.com also shared with me another find: a Linux distro (distribution, or version of Linux, also referred to as a flavor). Thus, curious to try it out, I've gotten this copy of Ubuntu.

Chinocracy... what?

With the onset of another "what" title comes the need to explain why. As you know my blog was titled "Techtor's Thought Dump" before. Then came the sad closure of Google Answers. I'm code-named Techtor there, so that for me means that the identity will barely see the light anymore. Thus I used my own nickname, Chino, in the title and what more apt way to use than in the title "Chinocracy" - Rule By Chino. It's one of the subtlest but most shameless methods of self-promotion ever used. And one of the best ways to proclaim my own self-importance. :P

Spiritual Terrorism - what?

One of the Filipino celebrity children I interviewed, who I found at the time was studying in the same college I came from, showed me a website full of thoughtful articles on any topic, ranging from hobbies to politics. But what he showed specifically was a heavy, striking article on religion's effect on the world. And what a title it was: Spiritual Terrorism.
